Here at the Wright Wine Company we really do talk a lot about our staff and the importance they play in making a visit to our shop such a great experience.
It may sound a bit cheesy, but we really do mean this. Every member of the team has a passion for some part of the drinks industry – and this is often demonstrated through previous involvement in brewing or catering for example.
With Les Hall and Stella Mallinson – both have come from ‘within the industry’, however they wanted to cement evidence of their knowledge with relevant qualifications.
No problem, we said – and promptly put them onto a WSET course (Wines and Spirits Education Trust) Level 2 in Wines and Spirits with renowned MW (Master of Wines), Nick Adams.
We’re really pleased to say that they both passed with flying colours. Distinctions all round!
